TRAVELING TO CUERNAVACA
Airport Pick-up
Experiencia can pick you up at the airport in Mexico City, if you wish. However, we need exact information about your flight, including airline, flight number and arrival time and date, at least one week prior to your arrival. There will be a separate charge for this service. Please see our rate sheet below. Reduced rates are also available if more than one person is in your pick-up. Please arrive prior to 10 p.m or there will be an additional late night pick-up fee charged ($10). |

Driver waiting time covered is for one hour after flight arrival. For each 1 hour delay past this,

Cuernavaca-direct executive bus from the airport in México City
Direct Pullman de Morelos public non-stop Bus Service between the Mexico City Airport and Cuernavaca
Over 90% of our students use the Pulman of Morelos Executive bus service from the airport. This is a direct bus from the airport in Mexico City to Cuernavaca that can be caught very easily from the airport. These buses run daily every 45 minutes to an hour throughout most of the day and every hour to an hour and a half in the evening, until 11pm. The cost is approximately $125 pesos ($12). This ride takes an hour to an hour an a half. They play a video en route and serve soda and cookies. From the bus station in Cuernavaca, you may catch a cab ($3) to Experiencia, or to your host family's address. |

Leaving from the airport daily: 06:30, 07:15, 08:00, 09:00, 10:30, 11:15, 12:00, 12:45, 13:30, 14:15, 15:00, 15:45, 16:30, 17:15, 18:00, 18:45, 19:30, 20:15, 21:00, 22:00, 23:00. Pay at the counter on the second floor. After exiting the customs and immigration area on the first floor you will see the Freedom Cafe to the right. Walk to the left down the main concourse about 100 yards, then go right up the ramp to the area on the second floor that takes you to the ticket counter for the bus. You can ask any airport employee for directions to the Cuernavaca bus: "Estamos buscando el lugar donde compramos boletos para el autobus a Cuernavaca." Or print this text and show it to them. It only takes a few minutes to arrive at the ticket counter. From there they will direct you downstairs where right below are the buses. You usually must wait from 45 minutes to an hour and a half for the next available bus. Arrival by late afternoon is best especially if your flight might involve connections and possible flight delays.

Take the bus to its destination at the Casino de la Selva bus station in Cuernavaca. From the bus station, you can catch a cab to the school or your family address, the cost should be equal to about 2 or 3 US dollars. We recommend cabs marked "Radio Cab". ALWAYS negotiate the taxi price BEFORE you accept the ride!
Returns are from the Terminal Casino de la Selva in Cuernavaca located at Avenida Plan de Ayala No. 102, Monday - Sunday. The school will help you understand how to do this. Typically, we purchase the tickets a day or two ahead of time:

If you are traveling with children, please read the AVISO below carefully!
Please be aware that BOTH legal parents must be accompanying children during travel to and from Mexico OR have a notarized note of authorization from the absent parent giving clear permission to the accompanying parent to travel to Mexico , specifying the dates and purpose of travel as well OR other legal papers.
Teens traveling unattended will need a notarized note signed by BOTH legal parents or a notarized note from each parent. You will need to inform them of the driver's name for pick-up both in Cuernavaca and upon return to the country of origin. We will provide this information to you before departure. Contact your airline or travel agent for further specifics regarding these provisions.
